In pictures: Coastal archaeology on the Western Isles

Following our initial season of work on the OHCCMAPP there have been a range of interesting finds from the last 5000 years of archaeology in the Islands – from possible medieval villages and fishtraps to underwater finds of early Neolithic ceramics.

The BBC have compiled a few striking images from the pilot project here.

Not bad for the first season…more to come.
