Pity about the rain. My family had a lovely day. We went on the Broadlands Walk and it was ironic as the gentleman talked about droughts in previous years and the water meadow was a water meadow and the River Itchen was running full in the rain but we did enjoy. Thank you everybody for giving your time and please continue every year. The bands were very good and we sat in the rain and watched. The children enjoyed the exhibits. Hurst Castle in a previous year was also very good. The Water Events are worthwhile looking out for.

Thanks for a fantastic day, we came over from Maidenhead, Berks to have a look. I took some pictures, which are on Flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/mogret/tags/nationalarchaeologyday/. Not particularly good but you are welcome to use them if you wish.
